5-page preview of potentially longer story; also, my contribution to this semester’s comics collective zine.  I want to clean it up more and I have some ideas about who the buff guy and the robot in the last couple panels are gonna be.

I started out just kind of doodling out my frustration - but I really really like the masses of black, I think that helps make the pages more dynamic!  I tried to be conscious of line weight and I think that stands out in some places more than others.  Overall I’m happier with it than I expected to be and I’m looking forward to doing more.  It is so satisfying to see an area covered unevenly with marker turn into a beautiful black blob on the computer.  The zine will be printed with a risograph in dark blue on white paper, and the cover will be screenprinted in up to four colors.

Forthcoming: my idea for the cover of the zine and a short illustrated review of Ghengiscon, which I tabled at with MJ and Mort on Saturday.
